Heat, June, New Orleans. The words go together like beans and rice. In order to beat the heat and humidity, my wife and I often drop the boat in Lake Pontchartrain and go for a cruise.
Let me tell you about Annette. She is a Pisces through and through. If it involves the water, it’s fine with her. It’s fine with any man who gets to see her in her bikini also. At 5’2″, 105 pounds, blonde hair, blue eyes on a beautifully sculpted body (four workouts a week will do that) she turns heads when completely dressed, let alone in a bikini. So when I mentioned to my water rat that the Boat Stop was in this weekends plans, she jumped at the chance.
The Boat Stop is a funky little bar that sits on a river, which empties into the north end of the lake. It is totally isolated and can be reached only by boat. On a pretty summer weekend, upwards of one hundred boats of all sizes and makes can be found tied to the pier or anchored in the river. Some are worth a few hundred dollars, some a few hundred thousand, all tied to one another with their crews in the bar.
